The Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Mist was everywhere last summer. It was used by the top Sephora Beauty Experts and many big beauty influencers. I had yet to use any Tatcha products so I was not sure why there was so much of hype about the product but I could see that it was soon becoming a cult must have brand. So I decided to buy it!
When I first bought it, I was definitely wowed by the packaging. It comes in a lovely box and not to forget the fun colors on the bottle. So a good start!
Tatcha claims the product is like a silky liquid spray on moisturizer. The product definitely is a silky moisturizer and it gives you an amazing dewy- fresh look after spraying. It also does a good job of keeping your make-up intact at the end of the day. The smell is also amazing, nice and refreshing. It is gentle on your skin, initially I was not sure if it was working for my dry skin but after continuously using it and adding some more sprays it started to work wonders for my dry skin. It was just perfect not too oily and not very dry, it's just hydrating enough. This product is also known to work well for people with oily skin and sensitive skin.
The delivery system of the product in terms of the spray is excellent. This is by far the best when it comes to spraying that fine mist on to my skin. The other products are not so fine and it ends up getting sprayed as big dots not this product though. It is just perfect!
It is a good fixer for your end of day tired look, one spray and it gives your face an immediate glow. You can apply it before wearing your make-up, it doubles as a primer and after wearing your make-up where it can work as a make-up setting spray. Or even if you do not want to wear make-up and just need a fresh glowy look, it works well in those cases as well.
So basically there are three different ways you can include it in your skin and beauty routine, as per me.
After washing your face, applying moisturizer and right before applying makeup.
After applying make-up as a setting spray.
Or even if you are not wearing make-up it can be worn to give you that dewy look and just any time during the day when you need a fresh-up
The product is formulated with about 20 percent botanical oils and humectants to give you that dewy look. It contains Okinawa red algae and my favorite hyaluronic acid which is an excellent hydrating ingredient. It also has hadasei-3 anti-aging complex and Japanese superfood ingredients - green tea, rice and algae to give you that youthful glow.
But is it still worth the hype - Yes, it is definitely worth it. What's more the product is non-irritating, non-sensitizing, dermatologist tested and cruelty-free.It does not contain mineral oil, synthetic fragrances, urea, DEA or TEA.
